This is the one Mixsoon centella product that does not stop at a plain plant extract. Alongside Centella Asiatica Extract, the ingredient list separately declares three of the isolated centella triterpenes by name — asiaticoside, madecassic acid and asiatic acid — which is a materially different claim from “contains cica” and worth making precisely. Madecassoside, the fourth of the well-known centella triterpenes, is not on the list. Around them sits an unusually deep hydration system: the brand counts eleven hyaluronic acid forms, from high-molecular-weight hyaluronic acid and sodium hyaluronate through crosspolymer, acetylated, hydrolysed and hydroxypropyltrimonium derivatives, plus hydrolysed glycosaminoglycans, Ceramide NP and hydrogenated lecithin for the barrier itself. The 50ml bouncy gel-cream is the finishing step for skin that is both reactive and dehydrated.

Key Benefits

  • Named centella triterpenes, not generic cica. Asiaticoside, madecassic acid and asiatic acid are declared individually on the INCI alongside the whole Centella Asiatica Extract — the isolated actives most associated with the soothing and repair literature on centella.
  • Multi-weight hyaluronic acid hydration. Hyaluronic acid, sodium hyaluronate, hydrolysed hyaluronic acid, hydrolysed sodium hyaluronate, sodium hyaluronate crosspolymer, sodium acetylated hyaluronate, potassium hyaluronate and hydroxypropyltrimonium hyaluronate give both surface film and lighter, faster-penetrating fractions.
  • Ceramide NP for the barrier. A skin-identical ceramide, supported by hydrogenated lecithin — the ingredients that actually address a compromised barrier rather than just masking the symptom.
  • Niacinamide and adenosine. Both are Korean MFDS-notified functional actives — niacinamide for brightening and barrier support, adenosine for the look of fine lines.
  • Panthenol, allantoin and arginine add further soothing and conditioning on stressed, flushed skin.
  • Ferment and glycosaminoglycan support. Bacillus Ferment, Lactobacillus Ferment and hydrolysed glycosaminoglycans round out the moisture and conditioning complex.
  • Bouncy gel-cream texture. Absorbs quickly to a dewy, non-heavy finish — a workable moisturiser in humid Gulf conditions where a rich cream is unsellable for most of the year.
  • Alcohol-free and fragrance-free across a long list, which is the harder engineering problem.

When to Use

Morning and evening as the final leave-on step, after toner, essence and serum, and before sunscreen in the daytime. It is the moisturiser for skin that is simultaneously irritated and dehydrated: reactive after sun, heat, wind or air conditioning; tight and flaking despite feeling oily; flushed after shaving, waxing or a clinic appointment; or destabilised by an active routine of acids or retinoids on the off-nights. The gel-cream weight also makes it a viable year-round moisturiser for combination and oily skin types that cannot tolerate a heavy occlusive but still need barrier support.

How to Use

  • After cleansing, toner and serum, take a pea to almond-sized amount.
  • Warm briefly between the fingertips and press it over the face and neck, working outwards; pat rather than rub on reactive areas.
  • Layer a second thin pass on dry patches or on nights when skin feels especially tight.
  • In the morning, allow it to settle for a minute, then apply broad-spectrum sunscreen over the top.
  • Use twice daily. For best hydration, apply onto skin that is still slightly damp from toner.

Key Ingredients

  • Asiaticoside — isolated centella triterpenoid saponin, declared in its own right on the ingredient list.
  • Madecassic Acid — isolated centella triterpene acid.
  • Asiatic Acid — isolated centella triterpene acid. (Madecassoside is not declared in this formula.)
  • Centella Asiatica Extract — the whole-plant cica extract carrying the wider phytochemical profile.
  • Niacinamide (vitamin B3) — MFDS-notified brightening active; also supports barrier function.
  • Adenosine — MFDS-notified anti-wrinkle active.
  • Ceramide NP — skin-identical ceramide for barrier lipid replenishment.
  • Hyaluronic Acid — high-molecular-weight form; surface film and immediate plumping.
  • Sodium Hyaluronate — the salt form, lighter and more readily absorbed.
  • Hydrolyzed Hyaluronic Acid — low-molecular-weight fragment.
  • Hydrolyzed Sodium Hyaluronate — low-molecular-weight salt fragment.
  • Sodium Hyaluronate Crosspolymer — crosslinked form for a longer-lasting moisture film.
  • Sodium Acetylated Hyaluronate — acetylated derivative with better skin adhesion.
  • Potassium Hyaluronate — potassium salt humectant form.
  • Hydroxypropyltrimonium Hyaluronate — cationic derivative that binds to the skin surface.
  • Hydrolyzed Glycosaminoglycans — related matrix humectants supporting the hyaluronic acid complex.
  • Panthenol (pro-vitamin B5) — humectant and soothing agent.
  • Allantoin — soothing and skin-protecting.
  • Arginine — amino acid; conditioning and pH adjustment.
  • Glycerin — skin-identical humectant, second on the list.
  • Hydrogenated Lecithin — phospholipid emulsifier that supports the lipid barrier.
  • Bacillus Ferment and Lactobacillus Ferment — fermented conditioning ingredients.
  • Ficus Carica (Fig) Fruit Extract — conditioning botanical extract.
  • Pullulan — polysaccharide film-former giving a temporary tightening, smoothing feel.

Precautions

External use only; avoid the eye area and rinse with water on contact. The formula contains no AHA, BHA, retinol or vitamin C, so it carries no added sun-sensitivity warning — daily broad-spectrum sunscreen is still recommended, and particularly so alongside the niacinamide in this formula if the goal is an even skin tone. Niacinamide can cause transient flushing in a minority of users; isolated centella triterpenes are well tolerated but are still plant-derived actives, and fig fruit extract is a known occasional sensitiser. Patch test on the inner forearm for 24 hours before first full use, especially on post-procedure or actively inflamed skin, and discontinue if redness, itching, stinging or swelling develops. Do not apply to broken or weeping skin. Keep the container closed, avoid contaminating the product with unwashed fingers, and store below 30°C away from direct sunlight — ferment- and ceramide-containing emulsions are the kind of formula most at risk from heat exposure during MENA transit and storage. Observe the period-after-opening marked on the pack.
