Sheet masks usually carry the longest ingredient lists in a brand’s range; this one carries eleven. Water, butylene glycol and glycerin, then Centella Asiatica Extract in fourth position, with the rest of the list doing nothing but thickening the essence into a jelly, preserving it and chelating it. No fragrance, no alcohol, no essential oil, no niacinamide, no acids — a deliberately uneventful formula for skin that is already reacting to something. Supplied as five individually sealed 25g sheets, it is the single-use format buyers use for post-sun and post-procedure recovery, in-flight and hotel kits, and as a low-risk trial of the centella line.

Key Benefits

  • An eleven-ingredient essence. Short, alcohol-free and fragrance-free, with no exfoliating acid, retinoid or brightening active — designed to give irritated skin an occlusive rest rather than a treatment.
  • Centella Asiatica Extract high on the list. Fourth of eleven, ahead of the thickeners and preservative, so the cica content is meaningful rather than a trace claim.
  • Glycerin and butylene glycol for real hydration. Two straightforward humectants held against the skin for 10–20 minutes under the sheet, which is where sheet masking outperforms a leave-on layer.
  • Jelly-textured sheet that stays put. The carrier is formulated to cling closely, so the essence stays in contact with the face instead of sliding and evaporating.
  • Single-use hygiene and portability. Individually sealed 25g sachets travel well, survive warm-climate distribution better than an opened jar, and are ideal for amenity, sampling and gifting programmes.
  • Accurate cica positioning. The INCI declares Centella Asiatica Extract only — no isolated madecassoside, asiaticoside, asiatic acid or madecassic acid — and the formula is distinct from Mixsoon’s other centella SKUs, not a shared base.

When to Use

Evening, after cleansing and toner and before serum and moisturiser; one to three times a week for general upkeep, or on consecutive days during a flare. It is the right choice when skin is hot and flushed after sun or heat exposure, tight after a long flight or a day in air conditioning, sore after shaving, waxing or threading, or recovering from a light clinic treatment once the practitioner has cleared topical use. With no photosensitising actives in the formula it is also usable in the morning before makeup on an event day, though most users prefer it at night.

How to Use

  • Cleanse, then apply toner so the skin is damp.
  • Open the sachet, unfold the sheet and lay it over the face, aligning the eye, nose and mouth openings; smooth out air pockets from the centre outwards.
  • Leave on for 10 to 20 minutes. Do not let the sheet dry out on the skin — remove it while it is still damp.
  • Peel off, discard the sheet, and pat the remaining essence into the face and neck until absorbed. Do not rinse.
  • Follow with moisturiser to seal, and sunscreen if used in the morning. Use each sheet once and discard.

Key Ingredients

  • Centella Asiatica Extract (cica, tiger grass) — the soothing active, declared fourth in the list; a whole-plant extract rather than a standardised triterpene fraction.
  • Glycerin — skin-identical humectant; the main hydrating workhorse of the essence.
  • Butylene Glycol — humectant and solvent carrying the centella extract.
  • 1,2-Hexanediol — humectant with antimicrobial activity, part of the preservation system.
  • Hydroxyacetophenone — antioxidant and preservative booster.
  • Xanthan Gum, Sodium Carbomer and Hydroxyethylcellulose — the gelling and thickening system that gives the essence its jelly body and keeps it on the sheet.
  • Ethylhexylglycerin — skin-conditioning preservative booster.
  • Disodium EDTA — chelating agent for formula stability.

Precautions

External use only; do not apply over broken, weeping or sunburned-to-blistering skin, and keep the sheet clear of the eyes and lips — rinse with water if essence enters the eyes. The formula contains no AHA, BHA, retinol or vitamin C, so no added photosensitivity warning applies. Patch test a little essence on the inner forearm before first use, especially on post-procedure skin or where a centella sensitivity is suspected, and remove the mask immediately if stinging, burning or itching begins. Do not leave the sheet on beyond 20 minutes or overnight: once the sheet dries it draws moisture back out of the skin. One sheet per use — never reseal and reuse a sachet. Store the unopened sachets in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight; chilling before use is optional and pleasant in hot climates, but avoid freezing.
