Most micellar waters that genuinely shift sunscreen and long-wear makeup do it with harsh surfactants and leave skin squeaking and tight. Mixsoon builds this one instead on mild polyglyceryl ester micelles — polyglyceryl-4 caprate, polyglyceryl-6 caprylate, polyglyceryl-6 ricinoleate and polyglyceryl-3 cocoate — carried in a centella base and buffered with citric acid and sodium citrate to a stated pH of 4.4 to 5.5, close to the skin’s own acid mantle. It is a no-rinse first step for people who wear SPF every day in a hot climate and still want their skin comfortable afterwards, and a practical entry point for customers who are not ready for a full oil-and-foam double cleanse.

Key Benefits

  • Removes sunscreen and everyday makeup without rinsing. Four mild polyglyceryl ester surfactants form micelles that lift oil, SPF filters, sebum and city grime onto the pad rather than stripping them off the skin.
  • Acid-mantle friendly. Formulated to pH 4.4–5.5 with a citric acid / sodium citrate buffer, so it cleanses without the alkaline swing that leaves skin tight and reactive.
  • Soothing botanicals, not just detergent. Centella and Houttuynia Cordata Extract are carried through the formula for redness-prone and easily irritated skin.
  • Leaves hydration behind. Panthenol (pro-vitamin B5), allantoin, betaine and erythritol are humectant and conditioning, which is why the skin does not feel stripped after wiping.
  • Alcohol-free and sensitive-skin positioned. No denatured alcohol in the formula; the brand positions it as vegan and hypoallergenic.
  • 300ml daily-driver size — a high-turnover cleansing SKU that pairs naturally with the rest of the Mixsoon centella line for Korean skincare wholesale assortments.

When to Use

Evening, as the very first cleansing step, before a foam or gel wash. It is the step for taking off a day of high-SPF sunscreen, sweat and light makeup in hot, humid or dusty conditions, and a reasonable single-step cleanse for skin that is too sensitive or too inflamed for scrubbing. It also works as a morning refresh on skin that only needs overnight oil lifted, and as a pre-cleanse for contact-lens wearers and others who prefer not to work an oil cleanser near the eyes. Note that Mixsoon has reformulated this product: the current “renewed” list runs on Centella Asiatica Leaf Water, while earlier stock declared Centella Asiatica Extract at 500 ppm together with Illicium Verum (anise) fruit extract — check the carton on the batch you receive.

How to Use

  • Pour a generous amount onto a cotton pad until it is fully saturated — a dry pad drags.
  • Sweep gently over the face and neck, concentrating on areas carrying sunscreen or makeup. Do not scrub.
  • For stubborn base makeup or waterproof SPF, press a soaked pad onto the area for about two minutes to dissolve it, then wipe away.
  • Repeat with a fresh pad until pads come away clean.
  • Follow with a low-pH gel or foam cleanser in the evening, then toner and the rest of the routine. Use nightly.

Key Ingredients

  • Centella Asiatica Leaf Water (with Centella Asiatica Extract in earlier batches) — the cica component the product is named for; a whole-plant extract, not an isolated madecassoside or asiaticoside fraction.
  • Polyglyceryl-4 Caprate, Polyglyceryl-6 Caprylate, Polyglyceryl-6 Ricinoleate and Polyglyceryl-3 Cocoate — the mild non-ionic polyglyceryl ester surfactants that form the cleansing micelles.
  • Houttuynia Cordata Extract — fish mint extract, a long-standing Korean botanical for irritated, blemish-prone skin.
  • Panthenol (pro-vitamin B5) — humectant and skin-conditioning; supports barrier comfort after cleansing.
  • Allantoin — soothing and skin-protecting agent.
  • Betaine — natural-moisturising-factor humectant that offsets surfactant dryness.
  • Erythritol — humectant sugar alcohol with a mild cooling feel on application.
  • Citric Acid and Sodium Citrate — buffer pair holding the product at pH 4.4–5.5.
  • Disodium EDTA — chelating agent; keeps the formula stable in hard water.

Precautions

For external use. This is a surfactant product and will sting if it reaches the eyes — keep it away from the eye area unless removing eye makeup deliberately, work slowly, and rinse thoroughly with water on contact; remove contact lenses first. It contains no AHA, BHA, retinol or vitamin C, so no added sun-sensitivity warning applies. Do not rub or drag with a dry or half-wet pad; mechanical friction, not the formula, is what usually irritates skin during micellar cleansing. Patch test before first use and discontinue if redness, itching or swelling develops. Although it is a no-rinse product, rinsing off is advisable on very reactive skin or when a heavy makeup load has been dissolved. Store closed and away from direct sunlight and heat. Confirm the ingredient declaration on your received batch against your destination market’s cosmetic labelling requirements, as the formula has been renewed.
