Mixsoon Bean Balancing Ampoule Mist

Most face mists are water with a humectant in it, which is why they evaporate and leave skin tighter than before. Mixsoon's Bean Balancing Ampoule Mist is built the other way round: sunflower and jojoba seed oils sit above a ferment-and-hyaluronic-acid water phase, so the bottle has to be shaken before each use and the spray lands as a fine emulsion rather than plain water. That oil fraction is what stops the mist drying down flat — it gives dehydrated skin something to hold the water against, and gives oily skin a reason to stop overproducing.

When to Use

Any time of day. Use it after cleansing as a hydrating first step before essence, between layers to help a serum spread, or at the end of a routine to set a look. It is most useful as a midday refresh — over makeup, after long hours in air conditioning, after a flight, or when combination and oily skin starts to feel tight underneath and greasy on top. Suitable for dehydrated, dull, sensitive and oil-imbalanced skin.

How to Use

Shake the bottle firmly until the oil and water phases combine and the liquid looks uniform. Hold it about 20cm from the face, close the eyes, and spray two to three times. Either let it settle on its own or press it in gently with the palms for faster absorption — do not rub. Follow with serum and moisturiser when using it as a skincare step, or leave it as the final layer. Use as often through the day as skin wants.

Precautions

Shake before every use — an unshaken spray delivers an uneven oil-heavy or water-heavy dose. Close the eyes while misting and rinse with water if any product enters the eye. The formula contains plant oils and niacinamide; a small number of people find niacinamide causes brief flushing or tingling, and very oil-reactive or acne-prone skin should trial it on part of the face first. Patch test before first full use, and discontinue if persistent redness, itching or breakouts develop. Store away from direct sunlight and high heat, which can turn the oil phase, and keep out of reach of children.
