Most conditioners solve roughness and create a new problem: fine hair goes soft, obedient and completely flat. CP-1 Volume Booster Conditioner is formulated around that trade-off. It conditions with cationic quats — steartrimonium chloride and cetrimonium chloride on a cetearyl alcohol base — and leans on cyclopentasiloxane, a volatile silicone that partly evaporates, rather than on butters and heavy oils, so the mid-lengths get slip while the root area is left free to lift. Into that base Esthetic House puts the line's signature load: a seven-peptide complex, a nine-part postbiotic ferment blend, a six-botanical extract complex built on molokhia leaf, black bean, kelp, goji, Terminalia chebula and mung bean, and a biomimetic lipid trio of cholesterol, hydrogenated lecithin and caprylic/capric triglyceride. Climbazole and salicylic acid handle the flaking side, and l-menthol closes with a cold rinse. It is a 500ml professional size, and a different formula from the Volume Booster Shampoo — not a scaled-down version of it.

Key Benefits

  • Detangling and slip without deadweight — steartrimonium chloride and cetrimonium chloride neutralise surface charge so a comb passes through wet hair cleanly.
  • Lightweight finish by design — cyclopentasiloxane is volatile and largely evaporates off, leaving far less residue than an oil- or butter-rich mask, which is the whole point in a product sold for body and bounce.
  • Seven-peptide complex — acetyl hexapeptide-8, copper tripeptide-1, palmitoyl pentapeptide-4, tripeptide-1, palmitoyl tripeptide-1, hexapeptide-9 and nonapeptide-1, the ingredient story that differentiates this line from commodity volumising conditioners.
  • Biomimetic lipid trio — cholesterol, hydrogenated lecithin and caprylic/capric triglyceride. Cholesterol is a lipid natively found in hair, and the trio is included for a smoother, more flexible feel on processed hair.
  • Nine-part postbiotic ferment complex — Lactobacillus, Lactococcus, Leuconostoc and Bifida ferments with acerola cherry, soybean and pomegranate ferment extracts, a strongly on-trend fermented-skincare angle carried across into haircare.
  • Flake management in a rinse-off — climbazole with salicylic acid, included to help keep scalp flaking and follicle-mouth buildup in check between washes.
  • Hydration and softness — glycerin, butylene glycol, propylene glycol and dexpanthenol (pro-vitamin B5) keep the fibre supple rather than straw-dry.
  • Cooling l-menthol finish — a refreshing cold sensation on rinse-out that tests exceptionally well with MENA consumers in summer.
  • Professional 500ml format — sized for salon back-bar and pharmacy shelf, and designed as the second half of a two-step with CP-1 Volume Booster Shampoo.
  • Honest claim framing for resale — the body, lift and bounce here are cosmetic effects of conditioning, cleansing and lipid distribution. Nothing in this formula supports hair regrowth, anti-hair-loss or medicinal claims, and it should not be marketed with them.

When to Use

Every wash, immediately after shampooing, at whatever time of day the client washes. It is built for fine, limp, soft-textured or thinning-feeling hair, hair that looks flat at the root by midday, oily-at-the-scalp and dry-at-the-ends combination hair, and coloured or heat-styled hair that needs conditioning without collapse. It also suits anyone whose scalp flakes mildly in dry air-conditioned or winter conditions. If a client's hair is very coarse, very long or heavily bleached, this is the wrong conditioner to push as a standalone — pair it with a CP-1 treatment or mask on the ends instead, and keep this one as the root-friendly wash-day step.

How to Use

  • Shampoo first, ideally with CP-1 Volume Booster Shampoo, and rinse thoroughly.
  • Squeeze the excess water out of the hair. Applying conditioner to soaking hair dilutes it and encourages over-application.
  • Take a coin-sized amount for short to mid-length hair, two for long hair, and apply from the mid-lengths to the ends only. Deliberately keep it off the roots and scalp — that clearance is what preserves root lift.
  • Distribute with a wide-tooth comb, then leave on for one to two minutes.
  • Rinse completely, until the water runs clear and the hair no longer feels slippery at the root.
  • Use at every wash. Finish with a leave-in essence on the ends if the hair is damaged.

Key Ingredients

  • Steartrimonium Chloride — the primary cationic conditioning agent, binding to damaged hair and delivering wet detangling.
  • Cetrimonium Chloride — a second, lighter quat that improves combing and reduces static.
  • Cetearyl Alcohol — fatty alcohol emollient and structure-builder giving the conditioner its body.
  • Cyclopentasiloxane — volatile cyclic silicone chosen for slip that does not linger as weight.
  • Dimethicone — the lasting smoothing silicone that seals the cuticle.
  • Acetyl Hexapeptide-8 — signal peptide included across the Volume Booster duo.
  • Copper Tripeptide-1 — a copper-bound peptide long used in premium Korean scalp and hair care for a conditioned, resilient feel.
  • Palmitoyl Pentapeptide-4 — lipid-tailed peptide for better substrate affinity.
  • Tripeptide-1 — short-chain peptide in the complex.
  • Palmitoyl Tripeptide-1 — palmitoylated tripeptide completing the pairing.
  • Hexapeptide-9 — six-amino-acid peptide in the blend.
  • Nonapeptide-1 — the longest peptide in the seven-peptide complex.
  • Corchorus Olitorius (Molokhia) Leaf Extract — mucilaginous jute mallow leaf, a genuinely familiar plant to MENA customers and a useful local talking point.
  • Black Bean Extract — black soybean extract, a traditional Korean hair-care botanical.
  • Laminaria Japonica (Kelp) Extract — mineral- and polysaccharide-rich seaweed extract.
  • Lycium (Goji Berry) Fruit Extract — antioxidant fruit extract from the traditional Korean herbal set.
  • Terminalia Chebula Fruit Extract — polyphenol-rich fruit extract used for antioxidant support.
  • Phaseolus Radiatus (Mung Bean) Extract — the sixth botanical in the complex.
  • Cholesterol — a lipid naturally present in hair, included to rebuild a smoother surface feel on processed fibre.
  • Hydrogenated Lecithin — phospholipid emulsifier and conditioning lipid.
  • Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride — light, fast-absorbing emollient oil.
  • Postbiotic Ferment Complex — Lactobacillus Ferment, Lactobacillus Ferment Lysate, Lactobacillus/Acerola Cherry Ferment, Lactococcus Ferment, Lactococcus Ferment Lysate, Leuconostoc/Radish Root Ferment Filtrate, Bifida Ferment Filtrate, Lactobacillus/Soybean Ferment Extract and Lactobacillus/Punica Granatum (Pomegranate) Ferment Extract.
  • Climbazole — an antifungal agent widely used in scalp care to help control flaking; unique to the conditioner in this duo.
  • Salicylic Acid — beta hydroxy acid, positioned near the end of the list in a rinse-off product for mild scalp clarification.
  • Dexpanthenol — pro-vitamin B5, for softness and moisture retention.
  • l-Menthol — the cooling isomer of menthol, responsible for the cold finish.
  • Glycerin — the primary humectant.

Precautions

Rinse it out completely. This is a rinse-off conditioner with quats, silicones and climbazole in it; residue left sitting on the scalp is not the intended use, and Esthetic House carries an explicit thorough-rinsing caution on the Volume Booster line. Keep the product off the roots and scalp in the first place — both for scalp comfort and because root clearance is what makes a volumising conditioner work. Salicylic acid is present, but near the end of a rinse-off formula rather than as a leave-on exfoliating active, so no sun-sensitivity caution is required here; if a client has used an AHA/BHA scalp scaler or peeling ampoule the same day, however, expect more tingling than usual from the l-menthol and salicylic acid together. The cooling sensation can sting on a scratched, shaved or irritated scalp. The formula is fragranced. Avoid contact with the eyes and rinse immediately with water if it happens. Patch test 24 hours before first full use and discontinue if redness, itching or swelling develops. Two points for buyers importing into regulated markets: climbazole is a restricted ingredient with defined maximum use levels in several jurisdictions, and the formula contains cyclopentasiloxane, a cyclic silicone (D5) — confirm the current position on both in your destination market before committing to volume. This is a cosmetic conditioner; it is not a treatment for hair loss or for any diagnosed scalp condition, and clients with persistent flaking, soreness or shedding should be referred to a physician or dermatologist.
