CP-1 MAGIC SEETHROUGH-BANG SELF FIRM
Box Details:
Quantity Per Box: 60
A single-use chemical perm kit built for one job only: the wispy see-through fringe that dominates Korean hair trends, curled just enough at the root to stay parted and lifted off the forehead. The box holds two solutions, two fringe rods, a pair of gloves and an illustrated styling sheet. Solution 1 is a reducing lotion based on cysteine and cysteamine HCl — the gentler thiol chemistry Korean brands use in place of ammonium thioglycolate — alkalised with ethanolamine and ammonium bicarbonate so it can open disulphide bonds in the hair it is wound on. Solution 2 is the oxidising neutraliser, a sodium bromate lotion that locks the new bond pattern back down. Both carry the same hydrolysed silk and corn, soy, rice and potato protein blend to limit how rough the hair feels afterwards. For wholesale buyers this is a self-care impulse item with a clear trend hook, and a compliance-sensitive one: it is a hair-waving product, not a styling cosmetic.
Key Benefits
- Cysteine and Cysteamine HCl are thiol reducing agents that break and re-form hair's disulphide bonds, giving a genuine chemical curl rather than a heat set that drops out on the first humid day
- Cysteamine-type systems are generally chosen over thioglycolate for their lower odour and milder feel, which is what makes a fringe perm plausible as an at-home product
- Sodium Bromate in Solution 2 is a bromate oxidiser — the standard, better-smelling alternative to hydrogen peroxide for neutralising a perm
- Scope limited to the fringe: two small rods and a one-head dose mean no full-head commitment and very little product to mishandle
- Hydrolyzed Silk with hydrolysed corn, soy, rice, potato and extensin proteins is carried in both solutions to soften the post-processing feel
- Polyquaternium-10 and Cetrimonium Chloride add conditioning slip so the bangs comb out instead of matting after neutralising
- Retails well alongside heat protectants, hair ampoules and masks — the aftercare basket is the real margin
When to Use
This is a standalone chemical service, not a step in a daily routine. Use it on dry, unwashed or freshly washed and fully dried fringe hair, on a day when the hair will not need to be tied or re-washed for the following two to three days. It suits healthy, virgin or lightly coloured fringe hair that falls flat or refuses to hold a part. It is the wrong product for hair that has been bleached, highlighted, relaxed, or permed within the last several weeks. Do not run it on the same day as colour, bleach, a keratin treatment or another perm, and leave clear space before and after any other chemical service.
How to Use
- Do the mandatory tests first: a skin patch test 48 hours ahead, plus a strand test on a few hidden fringe hairs to check how fast they soften.
- Work in a well-ventilated room. Put on the supplied gloves and protect clothing and shoulders.
- Start with dry fringe hair. Section it, wind it onto the two rods, and apply Solution 1 to the wound hair only — keeping it off the scalp, hairline, forehead, eyelids, ears and neck.
- Process for the time given in the enclosed instruction sheet, checking the curl formation on a test strand at short intervals rather than leaving it unattended. Over-processing is the main cause of damage.
- Rinse the fringe thoroughly with water while still on the rods and blot with a towel.
- Apply Solution 2, the neutraliser, for the stated time, then unwind the rods and rinse again very thoroughly.
- Dry with cool air and finish with a hair ampoule, essence or leave-in treatment. Avoid washing or clipping the fringe flat for two to three days.
- Single use. Discard leftovers; do not keep mixed or opened solutions for a second attempt beyond the manufacturer's seven-day limit.
Key Ingredients
- Cysteine (Solution 1) — amino-acid thiol reducing agent
- Cysteamine HCl (Solution 1) — the principal bond-breaking perm active
- Ethanolamine (Solution 1) — alkalising agent that raises pH so the thiols can work
- Ammonium Bicarbonate (Solution 1) — alkaline buffer
- Sodium Hydroxide, Sodium Carbonate and Triethanolamine (Solution 1) — further pH adjusters
- Sodium Bromate (Solution 2) — oxidising neutraliser that re-forms disulphide bonds
- Sodium Citrate and Citric Acid (Solution 2) — pH control for the neutralising step
- Hydrolyzed Silk — conditioning protein, in both solutions
- Hydrolyzed Corn Protein, Hydrolyzed Soy Protein, Hydrolyzed Rice Protein, Hydrolyzed Potato Protein and Hydrolyzed Extensin — plant protein blend, in both solutions
- Polyquaternium-10 — cationic conditioning polymer
- Polyquaternium-7 (Solution 2) — conditioning polymer
- Cetrimonium Chloride — cationic conditioner and anti-static
- Cetearyl Alcohol — fatty alcohol emollient
- Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Laureth-23, Oleth-10, Ceteareth-12, Ceteareth-30, PEG-12 Dimethicone, PEG-32, PEG-20 Glyceryl Stearate, PEG-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil and PEG-60 Hydrogenated Castor Oil — surfactants, emulsifiers and solubilisers
- Palmitic Acid, Stearic Acid, Lauric Acid and Myristic Acid — fatty acids
- Etidronic Acid — chelating agent that stabilises the formula against metal ions
- Parfum with Linalool, Benzyl Salicylate and Hexyl Cinnamal — declared fragrance allergens
Precautions
Read this section before reselling. This is a two-part chemical hair-waving product, and the risk profile is nothing like a shampoo or mask. Solution 1 works because Cysteine and Cysteamine HCl cleave the disulphide bonds in keratin at raised pH (Ethanolamine, Ammonium Bicarbonate, Sodium Hydroxide, Sodium Carbonate); Solution 2 works because Sodium Bromate is an oxidiser. Both can irritate skin, eyes and the respiratory tract.
Testing. A skin allergy patch test 48 hours before use is mandatory, not optional, and a strand test on a hidden section is the only way to judge processing time for that specific head of hair. Anyone who has previously reacted to a perm, a relaxer or hair dye should not use it.
Hair condition. Do not use on bleached, highlighted, over-processed, chemically relaxed or previously permed fringe hair, or on hair that is already dry, porous and snapping — thiol chemistry on compromised keratin causes irreversible breakage and can dissolve the fringe off at the root. Sodium bromate can also shift dark hair a shade or two towards brown, which the manufacturer states explicitly.
Application safety. Wear the supplied gloves throughout. Keep both solutions away from the scalp, face, forehead, eyelids, eyes, ears and neck, and rinse immediately with plenty of water on any contact; if solution enters the eyes, rinse continuously and seek medical advice. Work in a well-ventilated space. Do not use on broken, inflamed, sunburned or freshly shaved skin, or on an irritated, weeping or infected scalp. Not for use on children, and not advisable during pregnancy or breastfeeding without medical advice. Stop immediately and seek medical attention if burning, severe stinging, redness, swelling or blistering develops. Never exceed the stated processing time.
Storage. Store below 15°C, away from light and heat, and discard if either solution has discoloured. Use an opened pack within seven days. Keep well out of reach of children and do not transfer into unlabelled containers.
Regulatory note for MENA resale. Hair-waving and hair-straightening actives are restricted substances, not free-use cosmetic ingredients. Under the EU Cosmetics Regulation framework that the GCC cosmetic technical regulation is aligned with, thioglycolic acid and its salts and cysteamine hydrochloride are listed in Annex III with maximum concentrations for hair waving and straightening, separate and higher limits reserved for professional use only, and compulsory on-pack warnings including gloves-required and keep-out-of-reach-of-children statements. Several MENA regulators — among them the Saudi FDA, the UAE authorities via the ECAS/Montaji route, and the Egyptian Drug Authority — also require product notification or registration, an Arabic label and an in-market responsible person before a hair-waving product may be imported or sold, and some restrict these products to professional channels. Confirm the declared concentration of the reducing agent on the batch certificate of analysis, confirm the destination market's limit and channel restriction, and complete registration before shipping. Do not list this product in a market where you have not cleared it.
