A styling fixer is normally pure hold and nothing else — which is why customers with fine or thinning hair end up with volume that looks crunchy and feels coated. CP-1 built this 100ml spray on the Bright Complex protein platform instead: an acrylates/octylacrylamide film-forming resin in an ethanol base does the actual fixing, but it carries silkworm cocoon extract, milk and oat proteins, hydrolyzed silk, rice and corn proteins, keratin amino acids and a full amino-acid panel into the hair at the same time. The result is lift at the root that still moves, plus a shine finish rather than a matte shell. The 100ml size and the spray format make it a practical salon-finishing and travel-retail item.

Key Benefits

  • Acrylates/Octylacrylamide Copolymer is the film-forming fixative that creates buildable, flexible hold rather than a single hard cast
  • Ethanol base flashes off quickly, so the spray sets fast without leaving hair damp — useful in humid coastal conditions
  • Silkworm cocoon extract, milk protein and oat protein add the protein body that makes fine hair feel thicker rather than just stiffer
  • Hydrolyzed silk, hydrolyzed rice protein, hydrolyzed corn protein and keratin amino acids coat the strand for the line's signature shine
  • Panthenol (dexpanthenol) keeps the set hair from feeling dehydrated under the film
  • Salicylic acid and menthol give the scalp-fresh character the CP-1 range is known for
  • Sodium ascorbyl phosphate (stable vitamin C), tocopheryl acetate (vitamin E) and pyridoxine HCl (vitamin B6) add an antioxidant and vitamin layer
  • Ginkgo biloba leaf extract and a full amino acid complex round out the conditioning side of a product that is primarily a styler

When to Use

After styling, as the final step — once the blow-dry, iron or set is finished and the hair is fully dry and cool. It is the recommendation for fine, limp or thinning hair that collapses within hours, for flat roots, for customers who want lift at the crown without backcombing, and for holding a blow-dried style through a long day in heat. It is also genuinely useful on second-day hair to revive root lift. Do not use it before heat styling; that is the Bright Complex Heat Protection Serum's job. Salons use it at the mirror to finish; pharmacy and retail shelves should place it in styling next to volume shampoo and conditioner rather than in treatments.

How to Use

Hold the bottle fifteen to twenty centimetres from the hair. Lift a section at the crown, mist the roots of the area where you want volume, then let the section fall and move to the next. Two to four passes per area is enough; build up gradually rather than soaking one spot, because the hold is cumulative. For overall hold, mist lightly over the surface of the finished style. Let it dry for twenty to thirty seconds without touching, then shake the hair out with the fingers so the film sets flexibly. Washes out with normal shampoo — on daily users, a clarifying or scalp shampoo once a week prevents resin build-up.

Key Ingredients

  • Acrylates/Octylacrylamide Copolymer — film-forming styling fixative
  • Ethanol — fast-evaporating solvent base
  • Silkworm Cocoon Extract — protein-rich conditioning extract
  • Milk Protein Extract — body-building protein
  • Avena Sativa (Oat) Protein Extract — volumising plant protein
  • Hydrolyzed Silk — smoothing silk protein
  • Hydrolyzed Rice Protein — lightweight thickening protein
  • Hydrolyzed Corn Protein — conditioning plant protein
  • Keratin Amino Acids — hair-identical amino acid fraction
  • Panthenol (dexpanthenol, pro-vitamin B5) — humectant
  • Salicylic Acid — BHA present at low, preservative-adjacent level
  • Lactic Acid — pH adjuster
  • Menthol — cooling sensory active
  • Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate — stabilised vitamin C derivative
  • Tocopheryl Acetate — vitamin E antioxidant
  • Pyridoxine HCl — vitamin B6
  • Ginkgo Biloba Leaf Extract — antioxidant botanical
  • Silica — texturising, volume-supporting powder
  • Amino acid complex — glycine, serine, glutamic acid, aspartic acid, leucine, alanine, lysine, arginine, tyrosine, phenylalanine, threonine, proline, isoleucine, histidine, methionine and cysteine

Precautions

This is a high-ethanol spray: treat it as flammable, keep it away from open flame and lit cigarettes, do not use it near a heat source, and store it below 25°C and out of direct sun — relevant for warehousing and van delivery in Gulf summer temperatures. Do not inhale the mist; spray in a ventilated space and away from the face. Keep out of the eyes and rinse immediately with water if contact occurs. Spray onto the hair rather than directly onto the scalp; the alcohol base is drying on scalp skin and the menthol will sting on scratched, freshly coloured or irritated scalps. The salicylic acid and lactic acid here are at low functional levels in a rinse-free hair product, not leave-on skincare exfoliant doses, so no sun-sensitivity warning applies. Contains fragrance and milk-derived protein — patch test for fragrance- or dairy-sensitive customers and discontinue if irritation develops. Keep away from children.
